Family Story Time
The Medford Public Library presents family story time for ages 3 to 7. The session will explore new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. After story time, a short craft or activity will be held in the same space.

The Medford Public Library invites kids ages 8 to 12, accompanied by an adult, to come to the Maker Space and test out something new or work on a project of your own. A staff member will be on hand to help but it is YOUR design time. Come for the whole time or just stay for a little. Registration is required through the library's online calendar.

The Medford Public Library welcomes Eve Costarelli of Always Be Dancing to lead a interactive, highly engaging program for families that will get everyone dancing. Everyone will have a body-stretching, hand-clapping, foot-stomping good time. In this upbeat program, infused with the music and dance of flamenco, participants will absorb the dramatic postures and colorful flavor of flamenco while also exploring yoga poses and mindfulness. The Medford Public Library presents a Family Peeps Dioramas Night for kids ages 8 to 12 with their adults. Families can work together to re-create a favorite book with marshmallow peeps. All supplies (including Peeps) will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any extra supplies that you would like to use. Registration is required for this event through the library's online calendar.

Join Toddler Time at the Medford Public Library and read some excellent books, sing songs, and learn gentle movement activities. Story time is 30 minutes long and geared toward children ages 2-3. After stories and songs, all are invited to join a mini-play group too.
