Mystic Makerspace presents another of its popular Fixit Clinics at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. A Fixit Clinic celebrates repair through all-ages, do-it-together, hands-on, fix-n-learn, community-based discovery and disassembly. People bring broken, non-functioning things — electronics, small appliances, toys, bicycles, jewelry, fabric items, etc. — for assessment, disassembly, and — hopefully — repair. Kids’ Art Brunch at The Ford

The Ford Tavern is hosting its monthly Kids Art Brunch. For $15 per child, kids receive a brunch meal, juice, and a dessert, plus an art project led by teacher Sabrina Huether. The event is aimed toward kids age 4 to 10. There will be two seatings, at 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Register children through Eventbrite for the 10:30 a.m. session or the 1 p.m. session.

Tufts University occupational therapy students lead the program through virtual reality (VR), an immersive experience that allows you to watch a video while simultaneously feeling as if you are in that environment.
