Brooks Estate Spring Spruce-up

It's time for the Medford-Brooks Estate Land Trust's annual Spring Spruce-up. Volunteers are needed to come help for a few hours with both landscaping and Shepherd Brooks Manor projects. Taylor’s Book Club for Teens: Turtles All the Way Down

The Abbott Street String Band returns to The Porch with a little bit of bluegrass, and a little bit of Dixieland. This group of local old-time players formed at an Abbott Street residence during the pandemic. They feature acoustic instruments such as banjos, fiddles and guitars, and groove on the melodies of traditional fiddle tunes, dances and reels. Free admission for the music; table reservations recommended if you plan to have dinner.

Friends of the Library Trivia Night

CACHE member Friends of the Medford Public Library is holding its annual Trivia Night fundraiser at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. Assemble your team in advance or create a team on the night. Tickets are $25 per person. There will be a cash bar, so this event is for ages 21 and over. Space is limited, so registration is required through the online event page. Tickets will NOT be available at the door.

The Ford Tavern is hosting its monthly Kids Art Brunch. For $15 per child, kids receive a brunch meal, juice, and a dessert, plus an art project led by teacher Sabrina Huether. The event is aimed toward kids age 4 to 10. There will be two seatings, at 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and at 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Register children through Eventbrite for the 10:30 a.m. session or the 1 p.m. session.
