Anthony and Emily (3 to 5 p.m.) and VERDEgree (5 to 7 p.m.)  will provide the musical entertainment as the Medford Farmers Market kicks off its 11th season and its second year at the Condon Band Shell Park on Mystic Valley Parkway.

Anthony Prestigiovanni is a trumpeter with the Cape Ann Big Band and other ensembles, as well as a music educator. His wife, Emily, is a vocalist and board certified music therapist.

VERDEgree is an indie-rock band led by singer and bassist Elisabeth Hoffman. VERDEgree’s music blends beautiful melodies with intricate rhythms and crunchy time signatures. Each song reflects different experiences and stories from Hoffman’s life. Other members are Marc Hoffman (electric guitar), Jungho Kang (drums) and George Weithman (saxophone).

The market will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday from June 7 through October 25 (except for Thursday, July 5).
