MFN Literacy Program with Medford Housing
The Medford Family Network is teaming up with the Medford Housing Authority to offer "My First Game," a reading enrichment program that also focuses on building social and emotional skills for children in grades 1 to 3. The children who participate will engage in fun activities, and be given the opportunity to write their own social stories. Please check back closer to the event date for a link to register.

The Medford Family Network is offering a beginner English class for Medford parents/caregivers with at least one child age birth to 8. This is a Level 1 class for beginner students with little knowledge of the English language. Learn the English alphabet, numbers, pronouns, present continuous, simple present tense, basic adjectives, prepositions, and everyday vocabulary. The class will be held at the Missituk Elementary School in nine Wednesday evening sessions (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.), from April 24 through June 19.…

Haitian Heritage Month: Create Your Own Haitian Art
The City of Medford continues its series of Haitian Heritage Month events with a workshop at the Medford Family Network to Create Your Own Haitian Art with Medford artist Sarah Beardslee of Beads by Beardslee. The series concludes this afternoon with a Haitian Flag Day Celebration from 3 to 5 p.m. at Andrews Middle School. The series is a collaboration between the City of Medford’s Health Department, the Medford Family Network, Medford Public Library, and DiamondTale Consulting Inc.
