Today’s final Medford Farmers Market of the season will feature live music by Soular Eclipse from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and Alex Cumming from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Soular Eclipse is a young indie collective, most from Berklee, with original material that spans a variety of sounds. Alex is a traditional singer, accordionist, pianist and dance caller hailing from Somerset, England, now living in Medford and serving as the music director for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford. He performs songs and tunes from around the United Kingdom and America with a great depth of knowledge of the tradition.

Also at today’s market, the Medford Arts Council will hold a community reception from 5 to 6:30 for all of its 2021 grant recipients. Visit the market’s Facebook event page for updates on this week’s 19 vendors and other activities, which will include a visit from live alpacas from Everything Alpaca Farm. Also note that due to October’s earlier sunset, the market closes at 6:30 p.m.
