Down By Riverside, a new Medford nonprofit organization providing community connectedness through music, performance and education, presents its inaugural concert, the Spirit of Music Potluck. The concert will celebrate African American musical traditions and feature three artists performing spirituals, blues, New Orleans soul, and reggae: Glen David Andrews, aka the Crown Prince of the Treme, Jonathan Gramling, and Toussaint the Liberator. This is a potluck concert because Down By Riverside believes in the power of celebrating and enjoying music over a meal together.
