The Medford Farmers Market opens its 17th season and its eighth year at the Condon Band Shell Park on Mystic Valley Parkway. Opening Day will feature 26 vendors including artisans Beads by Beardslee, Kraken Ceramics, Justin’s Wood Shop, and Rita Ortolino-Dioguardi Collage. Today’s live music performances will be by Annie Linders, a guitarist, vocalist, and trumpet player primarily known for leading the band Annie and the Fur Trappers, joined by bass player Matthew Berlin, from 3 to 5 p.m., and the New England folk/Americana band Trail Mix from 5 to 7 p.m.
