Down By Riverside, a new Medford nonprofit organization providing community connectedness through music, performance and education, presents its second Spirit of Music Potluck at the Unitarian Universalist Church. Spirit of Music Potluck Concerts use music and food to create feelings of connectedness and community. The music and performers are curated to engage the spirit, educate participants, and to transport the listeners to a safe place. For this concert, Jonathan Gramling and Toussaint the Liberator will be performing their healing harmonies and rhythms, and special guest Athene Wilson & Friends will perform smooth jazz, R&B and soul music. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children through Eventbrite. Seniors 65 and older are eligible for discounts using the code DBR-Elders2024. Down By Riverside plans to hold Spirit of Music Potluck Concerts at the UU Church on the second Sunday of every month.
