The Tufts University Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies begins its Dances at Noon series for the 2024-25 school year with a performance by Miranda Lawson, a Boston-based dancer and choreographer. Originally from Somerville, Lawson trained primarily in contemporary and Hip-hop dance forms at The Studio Dance Complex, where she frequently returns to teach. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in dance and psychology from Mount Holyoke College, where she was recognized with awards in choreographic excellence and leadership through social justice work. Free and open to the public.
