Elinor Speirs, a classical and jazz violinist from South Africa, invites you to a musical community event: a magical soirée of beautiful music to celebrate the approaching long summer nights. Bring your children, fiancé and grandparents to an evening of informal string quartets, string trios, and piano duos playing music you love and recognize.

Program will feature:

• Michael McLean: Tangos & More: Six Dances for String Quartet
• Niccolò Paganini: Cantabile in D Major for Violin and Guitar, Op.17, MS 109, and Sonata Concertata in A Major for Violin and Guitar Op. 61
• Gaspar Sanz: Canarios
• Edith Piaf: La Vie En Rose (arr for string trio)
• Carlos Gardel: Por Una Cabeza (arr for string trio)
• Luis Demetrio: Sway (arr for string trio) and select jazz standards for violin and cello

Light snacks will be available at a reception after the concert.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted to support the First Baptist Church concerts and performers.
