Savtones at The Porch

The third Wednesday of the month brings Tony Savarino's Savtones back to perform at The Porch. Enjoy Savarino's original compositions: instrumentals focusing on guitar melodies. It's like instrumental Western Swing with some early jazz with some telecaster twang with a little blues and a great sense of humor. Expect a special guest too. Free admission for the music; if you plan to have dinner, reserve a table.

Join Toddler Time at the Medford Public Library and read some excellent books, sing songs, and learn gentle movement activities. Story time is 30 minutes long and geared toward children ages 2-3. After stories and songs, all are invited to join a mini-play group too.

The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly art class for seniors led by Tom Wojciechowski, a visual artist who works in a variety of media including installation, painting, photography and books. You will build skills and techniques each week and try out various processes that help you experiment and find joy in art and image making. Teen Peeps Diorama Contest

Teens in middle school and high school are invited to enter the Medford Public Library's always fun Peeps Diorama Contest. You'll have two hours to re-create your favorite pop culture moment with Peeps. All supplies (including Peeps) will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any extra supplies that you would like to use. The Porch presents the Medford debut of Overserved Again, a new, up-and-coming country rock band based out of Boston. New England natives Luke Papich, Garrett Moloney, Leandro Moro and Braeden MacNeill make up a lively group known for having a blast together, on and off stage. The band’s sound and setlist is heavily inspired by today’s "red dirt" stars like Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers, as well as country and rock legends like Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
