Pen, Paint, and Pretzels, the umbrella organization for student-run performing arts groups at Tufts University, is sponsoring a public reading of ASHTAR Theatre’s "The Gaza Monologues." This performance is a response to ASHTAR’s November 2023 call to theatre-makers worldwide to perform these monologues in solidarity with the Palestinian people. "The Gaza Monologues" were written by Palestinian youth after the 2008-09 war and testify to the suffering, humanity, hopes, and dreams of a generation growing up under siege. Free and open…

The Medford Council on Aging presents "Beginner and Beyond Country," a weekly class on Western Line Dancing for seniors led by Julie Kaufmann. The class includes both beginner (newer dancers) and improver (experienced dancers) lessons each week. No partner is needed, nor any previous experience. Cost is $3 per class.
