Tufts Spring Dance Concert

The Tufts University Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies presents the second of two performances of its Spring Dance Concert featuring senior capstone projects by Ellie Bloom, Sharika Kaul, Taylor Levin, Jessica Mann, Keira Myles, Noah Tervalon and Connie Yu. The program will  feature the Haydn Sonata in E minor; Debussy Estampes; Schubert Sonata in A Major, op.120; Nyzhankivsky Little Suite “Letters to Her"; and Zaderatsky Prelude and Fugue in F Sharp Minor. The Medford Recreation Department invites you to bring the family and your creativity to LoConte Rink for Paint the Ice! Families will receive a box of paint to paint the ice with any artwork desired. Be sure to take pictures of your artwork. At the end of the event, the Zamboni will be remove the paint. For ages 3 and up. No skating experience is necessary. Cost is $5 per person. Register through the Medford Recreation website.

Today concludes the Kenneth Tam exhibition "Standing in Soft Formation" at Tufts University Art Galleries. Through his choreographed video, photography and sculpture, Tam has long explored the myths and performative culture that uphold conventional American expectations of masculinity and identity.
