The Medford High School Drama Club presents as its spring musical, “Fame.” Based on the 1980 film and subsequent TV series, “Fame” follows some students at New York’s School of the Performing Arts through their four-year course. The audience sees them coming to terms with life and relationships — those who persevere, those who are resilient, and those who are not — and above all, perceiving the need to strive for excellence.

Additional performances will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5, and 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Note: Understudies take the stage for the Saturday matinee.

Tickets are $10 for students/seniors and $15 for adults . They will be sold at Medford High School the week before the shows, and at the door if available. Concessions and raffles at each show will also support the Drama Club.
