Chevalier Theatre welcomes seven-time Grammy winner Glady Knight in concert. Called the “Empress of Soul,” Knight is best known for the hits she recorded during the 1960s and 1970s with her group Gladys Knight & the Pips, which included her brother Merald “Bubba” Knight and her cousins Edward Patten and William Guest. Among her hit singles were “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)” and “You’re the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me.”
