Great Italian-American Food in New England

Food writer John Carafoli visits the Medford Public Library during Italian-American Heritage Month to talk about Italian-American food traditions in New England.
In this program, based on Carafoli’s 2016 book “Great Italian-American Food in New England,” the author will talk about the people, places, communities, and recipes that influenced Italian-American cuisine in the region.
Carafoli is an international food stylist, consultant, and food writer. He wrote the seminal book “Food Photography and Styling,” plus two children’s cookbooks, “Look Who’s Cooking,” “The Cookie Cookbook,” and “Cape Cod Chef’s Table: Recipes from Buzzards Bay to Provincetown.” Carafoli has also been featured on the TV Food network’s Ultimate Kitchens, and on National Public Radio.
