Judah Leblang: It’s Now or Never

Thursday, April 18, 2019 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Join writer/storyteller Judah Leblang for a humorous look at getting older, life on the road as a storyteller, and dealing with times when “man planned and God laughed.” Based on his memoir, “Finding My Place,” this program explores an episode of hearing loss in which the author, a former teacher of deaf children, suddenly lost most of the hearing in one ear, the onset of sleep apnea, encounters with inner (and outer) critics, and dating in middle age.

Judah Leblang is a Medford-based writer, teacher and storyteller. He is a regular columnist for Bay Windows, Boston’s gay newspaper, and his commentaries and essays have been broadcast on 200 NPR and ABC radio network stations around the U.S. He is the author of two memoirs, “Finding My Place” (2012) and “Echoes of Jerry,” to be published in 2019.
