Sanctuary UCC in West Medford Square is the site for the fourth annual Holiday Cookie Walk, a fundraiser for the Lakota YouthStay program. There will be 13 bakers making a variety of delicious homemade holiday cookies. People can make their own plate of holiday cookies as they walk along and select their favorites.

Prices are $15/pound of holiday cookies and $3 for hot cider, cocoa, coffee or tea and two holiday cookies.

The event begins at 11 a.m. and continues until the cookies are gone.

Proceeds benefit the Lakota Sioux people on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Each summer, the Lakota YouthStay program connects 10- to 15-year-olds from the Pine Ridge Reservation with hosts in Medford for a week of exploration, building friendships and engagement through shared activities of interest.
