Dream Role Theater Company returns to Hastings Park in West Medford to present six free performances of “Much Ado About Nothing,” William Shakespeare’s classic romp of deception, misunderstandings and love, set in the style of a 1930s screwball comedy! Directed by Elizabeth Ross, the show is being produced by Lisa Burdick, who co-produced last year’s Dream Role production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Hastings Park.
Performances will be held on the weekends of June 14-16 and June 21-23. Friday shows are at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday shows are at 4 p.m.
Admission is free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Dream Role Theater Company is exactly that: a theater company with the goal of letting actors play their dream roles.
Hastings Park, sometimes referred to as Tower Park due to its prominent stone tower (c. 1900), is bordered by Vernon, Allston, Laurel and Mystic Streets in West Medford, north of High Street and south of Woburn Street.
