Tufts University invites you to Super Arts Saturday, an arts experience for children designed to inspire creativity and joy in the arts. Children and families are welcome to come to Tufts’ arts facilities to attend a performance and a variety of workshops taught by Music, Art, Drama and Dance Department students and faculty.

The event will kick off with a 1 p.m. concert in Distler Hall by Andy Rangell as he narrates, performs, and illustrates “Babar the Elephant.” Starting at 2 p.m., children and their families will have the option to choose from such workshops as conducting station, African drumming and dance, composition, fine art projects, acting, and dance.

Super Arts Saturday is supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council, a local commission that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the City of Medford.
