The Temptations and Four Tops

Chevalier Theatre welcomes back the legendary singing groups The Temptations and The Four Tops. The Temptations are most notable for success with Motown Records during the 1960s and ’70s. The group, whose hits include “The Way You Do the Things You Do” and “My Girl,” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and has had 15 No. 1 singles and 17 No. 1 albums. Current members are Otis Williams (the last original Temptation), Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Larry Braggs and Willie Green.
The Four Tops were another group that established the Motown Sound heard around the world during the 1960s. Their first Motown hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving,” made them stars. Their No. 1 hit songs include “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” and “It’s The Same Old Song.” The Four Tops were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Current members are Abdul “Duke” Fakir, Ronnie McNeir, Lawrence Payton Jr. an Harold Bonhart.
Tickets are $39 to $79 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. Tickets also may be purchased, free of online ordering fees, at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., and two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
