The Tufts University Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies presents the first of three Fall Dance Concerts this weekend, featuring a combination of new compositions, reconstructions, faculty, guest artists and students. Graduating dance minors Erika Chen, Tharina Messeroux and Elsa Rohm share choreographic capstone projects that examine family heritage and the ties that bind us together. Faculty artist Jenny Oliver presents her Boston-based company; faculty member Renata Celichowska is reconstructing a 2001 work entitled Kol Nidre; and guest artists Ian Berg (artistic director of Subject:Matter) and Genevieve Du Paul (former demi-soloist with Grands Ballets Canadiens) are setting two works on  Tufts dancers.
