Medford’s Maud Powell String Institute wants you to know how fun stringed instruments are. The Medford Public Library invites you to this virtual craft and music moment with the Powell Institute, designed for children ages 6 and older.

The Maud Powell String Institute, founded by violinist Dorisiya Yosifova, is a nonprofit string program for ages 4-18 based in Medford Square. It provides high-quality and affordable music education to immigrant underserved communities, and fosters a diverse and collaborative learning environment for all students.
