The Board of Directors of West Medford Open Studios sadly announced on March 26 the cancellation of the 2020 West Medford Open Studios. Every spring since 2000, WMOS has brought together artists, admirers, neighbors, and the whole community to demonstrate the creativity and vitality, as well as the friendliness, of West Medford. Because of these extraordinary and uncertain times that we are living every day, the WMOS board thought was asking too much from everyone involved in the wonderful weekend to proceed.

“All of us will lose something special from not having the chance to take part in WMOS this spring,” the board’s statement said. “In spite of loss, we know that this is the best decision for all of us. We value the safety and well-being of our artists, hosts, and neighbors. We wish you and your family good health. We look forward to seeing you at our spring 2021 event. All the plans that we had—just wait till next year!”
