Medford will be doubly represented as Mike "The Comedy Barbarian" McCarthy - Medford High Class of 1986 - headlines Comedy Night at Carroll's Restaurant, hosted by Medford resident Hank Morse of WROR radio (105.7-FM). Author Talk: Susan Penta – The Seat by the Window

Book signing: Marc Zappulla – Miami Underground
Carroll's Restaurant is hosting a book signing with Medford native Marc Zappulla celebrating the release of his new book, "Miami Undergound." Zappulla, a graduate of St. Clement High School, worked as a ghostwriter for celebrity figures such as Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Gerry Cheevers and NESN personality Charlie Moore. Book Launch: Suzy and the Witch – Susan A. Penta
Carroll's Restaurant is hosting a book launch with Medford author and illustrator Susan A. Penta for her second work, "Suzy and the Witch." The book tells a true story about 8-year-old Suzy and the valuable lesson she learns about judging people before you really know them. Books will be available for purchase ($18.95 plus tax) and signing. Penta is a retired second-grade teacher who also wrote the children's book "A Seat by the Window."
