The Tufts University Department of Music presents the Hinge Ensemble: Philipp Stäudlin (saxophones), Matt Sharrock (percussion), Keith Kirchoff (piano/keyboards) and Dan VanHassel (electric guitar). Featuring interactive video, deconstructed pop music, and heavy metal chamber music, sound and spectacle unite in this multimedia-focused program reflecting our oversaturated, out-of-control media environment. Including world premieres by Tufts student Wen Gao and Dan VanHassel, along with works by Igor C. Silva, Chaya Czernowin and Sam Pluta.
