The Medford Public Library hosts its monthly Play Dough Club for ages 2 to 5. Why play dough? Playing with play dough helps young kids develop their hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine-motor and literacy skills. The Medford Public Library introduces its new Reading Buddies program for kids. Come practice your reading skills by reading aloud to teen volunteers. Reading Buddies will be available for 30-minute increments and happy to listen to you read whatever book(s) you'd like. "The Moosewood Cookbook" has inspired generations to cook simple, healthy, and seasonal food. The Medford Public Library is offering a Glass Fusing Workshop for adults led by Michel L’Huillier. Participants will learn the basics of glass fusing by creating one 8-by-10-inch tile that will be kiln-fired at 1,400 degrees — a low temperature that allows the glass elements of the design to stay three-dimensional.
