The Medford Family Network is offering a Monday afternoon Journaling Nature Walk Series for children ages 5 to 8. Writing is a means of communication that actually is an expression of who we are as individuals. This journaling experience in nature will allow children to include writing into their play, helping to build their confidence and creativity.

The series will be held at different Medford parks for five Mondays through October 26 (no session on Columbus Day, October 12), from 3 to 4 p.m. Attendance at all five sessions is required. The MFN will supply each participant with a journal, pencil, and a string backpack. Bring a towel to sit on.

Preregistration is required. Email abreen@medford.k12.ma.us with the names and ages of the children as well as the names of all adults attending. There will be no on-site registration.

Upon registration confirmation, an email will be sent with the event location. Masks are required.
