As part of Black History Month, the Medford Family Network’s Play and Learn Group sessions during school vacation week will celebrate Mr. Garrett Morgan, the African American inventor of the modern traffic light. Led by Miss Andrea Breen, the gatherings, for ages 3 to 6, will include an art activity, story time, Red Light Green Light game, and show and tell.

Twice-daily sessions will be offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, February 16-18, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and 1:30 to 2 p.m.

Registration closes at noon today, February 8; email mfnplayandlearnreg@medford.k12.ma.us with your choice of day and time, plus the names and ages of children and adults who will attend. One group per family.
