The Medford Jazz Festival, which made its debut in 2020, continues its series of outreach concerts as organizers continue to foster relationships as musicians, artists and change agents leading up to this year’s second annual festival. Tonight, the Bruce Gertz Quartet performs live from Bop Stop Studios in Medford. The group comprises some of Boston’s most prominent jazz artists, including Gertz on bass, Phil Grenadier on trumpet, Tim Ray on piano, and Austin McMahon on drums.
