Week 19 of the Medford Farmers Market will feature live music by Ryan Alvanos from 3 to 5 p.m., and Ruby Grove from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Alvanos plows the middle ground between Woody and Waits with songs that stroke your chin and get your itch like big nibs scratching coarse stock. Ruby Grove is the new lofi/soul/groove project of Cedric Lamour and Melissa Nilles, formerly of the popular local art rock band Miele. They’ll perform as an acoustic duo featuring original songs from Ruby Grove, as well as popular R&B, soul, indie, and rock covers.

Next Thursday, October 14, will be the final week of the Medford Farmers Market, which takes place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays at the Condon Band Shell Park. (Note: Due to earlier sunset, the market will be closing at 6:30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. for the final two weeks.)
