The City of Medford’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration will again be held online this year due to COVID-19. All are invited to hear from local voices speaking on the them “A Call to Action.” Featured on the program are Stephen W. Douglas III, president, West Medford Community Center Board of Directors; Lisa Crossman, WMCC executive director; Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn; Superintendent of Schools Dr. Marice Edouard-Vincent; Darren Josey, senior director of marketing at NEMO Equipment and board member at Big City Mountaineers; and Terry E. Carter, Medford’s poet laureate. Music will be provided by JB and Friends.

The event is being presented by the West Medford Community Center, the Mystic Valley Branch NAACP, and the City of Medford Human Rights Commission.
