The Tufts Sunday Concert Series presents the a program titled “SunSe,” a celebration of the influence of traditional music in band literature. Especially in the United Kingdom and America, composers of wind music from the 1920s forward sought to honor and preserve traditional folk melodies. This concert will feature a wind ensemble performing compositions by Percy Grainger, Gustav Holst, Hayden Wood, and William Grant Still and Clare Grundman.
