Historic Medford is offering a one-hour Patriots Day edition of its new trolley tour highlighting the city’s rich history. Learn about the Native Americans who lived here, the Mass Bay Colony with John Winthrop, the Mystic River, shipbuilding, bricks, rum, the transatlantic trade, the Royall House and Slave Quarters, the Middlesex Canal, Brooks Estate, Samuel Crocker Lawrence and the Lawrence Light Guard, and much more.

The tour begins and ends at the Salem Street Burying Ground on River Street. Tickets are $15 person and can be reserved through the Historic Medford Facebook page or by calling  617-909-9898. Seating capacity is 25 per tour.

Remaining trolley tour dates are Sunday, April 24, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, May 8 (Mother’s Day), from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (free for mothers); Sunday, May 29, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; Monday, June 20, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, June 26, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, July 3, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
