A closing reception will be held today to celebrate the return of the Children’s Art Showcase, a volunteer-run art display created to highlight artwork from the students in grades 3, 7, as well as featured high school students from the Medford Public Schools. Its mission is to promote arts and to keep students engaged with their creative side and giving them the chance to see themselves as artists.

The Showcase artwork is on display through April 23 in the South and North Garage Lobbies at River’s Edge. Today’s closing event will take place in the South Garage lobby, between The Porch restaurant and Freerange Market.
