Author Talk: William Martin – December ’41

FreeThe Medford Historical Society & Museum and Friends of the Medford Public Library present an evening with author William Martin, who will discuss his book “December ’41: Rising From Disaster – FDR, Churchill, and America after Pearl Harbor.” Come and hear “the king of the historical thriller” bring us back to one of the most frightening times in American history and tells the amazing back story behind a plot to assassinate Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the manhunt to foil the plan. The story sweeps the reader from the back lots of Hollywood to Christmas Eve 1941 when 20,000 people gathered on the South Lawn of the White House to witness the lighting of the Christmas Tree by FDR and his surprise guest, Winston Churchill.
