In celebration of the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Korea and the United States, the Philharmonia Boston Chamber Orchestra is presenting a Friendship Concert, hosted by the Korean Consulate General in Boston. Featuring a piano duo and chamber orchestra, the program will include pieces by Gershwin, Bolcom, Lee (“Arirang Rhapsody”), Grieg and Dvorak. Since its founding in 2012, Philharmonia Boston Chamber Orchestra has consisted of virtuosic musicians from all over the world, including Korea, China, Taiwan, Italy, Russia, Venezuela and the United States. This event is free and open to the public but space is limited. If all free tickets are claimed, more may be added in the days before the concert. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and masks are required.
