The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint welcomes Tokyo Tramps — Satoru Nakagawa and Yukiko Fujii — for their first Medford performance. Named after Bruce Springsteen’s song “Born To Run,” Tokyo Tramps has been creating unique and exciting blues/rock with a Hendrix-inspired guitar sound and a New Orleans funk groove. Hailing from Japan, Satoru and Yukiko met in Boston, started a journey searching for the spirit of rock ’n’ roll. They have released eight original albums in their 20-year musical career and are three-time contestants for the International Blues Challenge.
