Mystic Makerspace is conducting a Fixit Clinic at the new Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. A Fixit Clinic celebrates repair through all-ages, do-it-together, hands-on, fix-n-learn, community-based discovery and disassembly. People bring broken, non-functioning things — electronics, small appliances, toys, bicycles, jewelry, fabric items, etc.– for assessment, disassembly, and — hopefully — repair.

Registration is required through the library’s online calendar. You will be contacted after you register to get information on what you are bringing and sign up for a time slot. This is a family event, and parents are encouraged to bring their children to participate. Mystic Makerspace also is looking for Fixit Coaches to lend their expertise at the event.
