Comites Boston and the Consulate General of Italy in Boston are presenting an Italian Festival in conjunction with Festa della Repubblica Italiana, the Italian National Day and Republic Day celebrated each June 2. The event will feature live music, a beer and wine garden, food vendors, children’s attractions, and family friendly entertainment. The program will include opening ceremonies at 11 a.m. featuring a salute to the flag and the United States and Italian national anthems; an Italian performance by Medford Public Schools students at 2 p.m.; and a concert by tenor Alberto Profetta at 4 p.m.

Please note that due to the weather forecast, the location of this event has been changed from the Condon Band Shell to the Medford Recreation Center/Gene Mack Gym, on the lower level of the Chevalier Theatre building. There will be shuttle bus service from the Medford City Hall parking lot.
