Stop by the second Artepreuners display and sale taking place today in the second-floor café area at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. Artepreuners is a weekly program where youth at the Medford Housing Authority repurposed and recycled community sourced items that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. Youth have created “saleable” art from waste materials and learned about entrepreneurship and financial literacy while harnessing their artistic and creative abilities. Among the items for sale will be watercolor greeting cards; faux stoneware vases; stunning dry flower arrangements; and more, all of which would make lovely, economical, and meaningful Mother’s Day gifts!

The Artepreuners program is funded by proceeds from the “Made in Medford” calendar project with support of Medford residents, as well as the Neighborhood Kitchen, Colleen’s of Medford Square, and Wegmans.
