Terri Lyne Carrington Concert – Set 1

FreeThe Medford Public Library welcomes home Medford native Terri Lyne Carrington for the first of two performances in Bonsignore Hall. Carrington is an NEA Jazz Master, Doris Duke Artist, and three-time Grammy award-winning drummer, composer, producer and educator. She serves as founder and artistic director of the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice. She has performed on more than 100 recordings over her 40-year career and has toured and recorded with luminaries such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz, Esperanza Spalding, and numerous others.
Carrington will perform two sets, at 7 and 8:30 p.m. This is a ticketed event. You must RSVP on the library’s online calendar or in person at the library to receive tickets. Note: This concert was rescheduled from its original date of July 14.
