Medford author Shirley Gerald Ware will be teaching The Art of Writing Poetry and Short Stories for seven consecutive Tuesdays at the Medford Public Library. Ware is the author of 10 published books and the publisher of a literary magazine that publishes teen and adult writers. Her poetry is published on Facebook weekly and she is credited for writing over 200 poems and short stories. Other class dates will be September 12, 19 and 26, and October 3, 10 and 17. The program is funded supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council.
