Three of the oldest and most honored a cappella groups at Tufts University — the Jackson Jills, the Beelzebubs, and the Amalgamates — present two Homecoming shows at Breed Hall, at 7 and 9 p.m. The Jills are the oldest all-femme a cappella group at Tufts, established in 1963. The ‘Bubs, formed in 1962, are the oldest male a cappella groups at Tufts; they have received more than 30 CARA (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards) nominations and twice have been honored as “Best Group in the Nation.” Founded in 1984, the ‘Mates are oldest all-gender a cappella group at Tufts.
