The West Medford Community Center is getting into the fall spirit with an Apple Butter Fest not only with apple butter making, but also live music, a petting zoo, and other activities. Learn about growing and preserving food as you join in on apple butter making, and take some home at the end of the event. Singer/songwriter/musician and Medford native Michael Maloney of the Celtic and Irish-American band the Boston Harbor Bhoys will perform solo from noon to 2 p.m. The McDonny’s Traveling Farm petting zoo will be open from 3 to 5 p.m. Admission is free to West Medford Community Center members; a $25 donation is suggested for non-members.
