The Medford Chess Club invites you to its weekly meet-up in Medford Square. Today’s location will be the Arts Collaborative Medford community arts center, as the library is unavailable due to the Friends of the Library Fall Book & Bake Sale. The front door will be open for attendees from 1 to 1:30 p.m. The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members to teach you the rules if you’re new to the game. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome, but those under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult or mature older sibling. There are no membership dues or fees to play.
