Missituk Elementary School presents its Celebration of Cultures, featuring Irish step dancing, Spanish songs, a salsa lesson, and a martial arts presentation. The grand finale will be a bilingual storytelling event, “Why the Sea Cries,” by Esther Gomez and Karina Liendo at 6:30 p.m. It’s a story of a Brazilian Cinderella who has a unique “sister” who helps her through difficult times. Students will be invited up on stage for an interactive storytelling experience, followed by a fun game, music and dance. The event is supported in part by a Medford Arts Council grant.
