Author and memoirist Oscar Greene has 99 years of history to share. Moving to Medford as a young man, he was part of the proud neighborhood community of African-American people recognized far and wide as a standard for race relations. Every gathering with Mr. Greene is an opportunity to be celebrate his life in West Medford. His work has appeared in newspapers, magazines and anthologies and he is the author of several books, including House of Strangers, Hampton and the War Years, From Homecoming to Twilight, and Ruby: A Love Story.
