Ladies of Essence, Tufts University’s only all-female a cappella group specializing in music of the African diaspora, presents its spring concert: celebrating what it means to be a phenomenal woman. As a Lady of Essence, this means something different to each member, but when the group comes together to sing, being a phenomenal woman is about celebrating the things, big or small, that makes each member unique.
